ABOUT US — HOW WE WORK

What if we based our business models on life-affirming logic?

Cyclical Approach

A colorful infographic illustrating the cycle of seasons, with art elements representing each season. Summer features a person holding a butterfly net, apples, and a person in a cape. Spring shows sprouts, flowers, and butterflies. Winter has icy scenes, snow, and birds. Autumn includes apples, mushrooms, and leaves. A pink line connects the seasons in a circle with words: Base, Foundation, New Wisdom, Implementation, Integration, and Summer.

Regenerators honor natural cycles. We recognise that nothing thrives when forced into a state of perpetual productivity, and make conscious space for rest and fallow periods, both in the way we work and in the design of our courses and learning experiences.

Our Business Model

Collage of various natural elements including a mushroom, leaf, insects, a bird, berries, a tree, and a family of three, centered around a dark circular object with a glowing yellow center.

Our business model is based on the values of regeneration. This means that we redistribute capital towards projects that focus on land regeneration and empowering Indigenous voices. We ensure fair conditions for all our contributors and always offer scholarships and a reduced price for students and the unemployed.

FAQ

This FAQ is here to offer more clarity around how we work and how we are structured.
Think of it as an invitation into how our living ecosystem evolves, collaborates, and nurtures change.
If you’re curious, unsure where to begin, or simply sensing a pull toward regenerative ways of working and being, it might help to read this.

  • When we speak about “regenerative,” we mean ways of leading, designing, and organizing that restore, renew, and strengthen life - both inner and outer.

Regeneration goes far beyond sustainability. It’s not about doing “less harm” - it’s about actively creating conditions for people, organizations, and ecosystems to thrive. It draws on living systems wisdom, adult development psychology, and indigenous wisdom, and principles like reciprocity, wholeness, and right relationship.

    A regenerative approach asks:
How can my work contribute to more vitality, resilience, and life?

Learn more about why we need a regenerative approach or see examples of regeneration.

  • There are many ways to enter the Regenerators ecosystem.

Most people join through our learning journeys and courses (link to Academy). Others collaborate with us on specific regenerative projects, and many participate in regional gatherings — such as those hosted by our sister organization Regenerative Voices in Denmark (link). If you want to be part of our Community of Care and Practice (link) you can join one of our learning journeys held in community, like the year-long Regenerative Leadership Journey.

No matter where you begin, you become part of a living, global ecosystem dedicated to regenerative transformation.

  • No.
Our ecosystem includes leaders, founders, educators, facilitators, designers, public servants, healers, activists, consultants, and visionaries from more than 70 countries.

You don’t need a title or prior regenerative experience—only a genuine curiosity and a commitment to learn, grow, and contribute to life-affirming ways of working.

Wherever you come from, you’ll find a place here if you sense a longing towards contributing to life-affirming ways.

  • We don’t operate as a traditional organization.
Regenerators is structured as a living organism, organized into interconnected circles.

    Core Circle

Stewarded by Laura Storm and supported by Community Nurturer Judit Saez.
Laura is not a “boss” - she co-stewards the vision, holds space for learning journeys, and sows seeds through keynotes and collaborations. Judit nurtures the learning journeys and the wider ecosystem. Tarn shares our work with the wider world through our communications channels. Ida helps us all by remembering important details and responding to your questions.

All core team members are self-employed freelancers offering their unique talents to the ecosystem.

    Alumni Pollinators

A team of alumni – currently Kapil and Melanie -  stewards our self-organized Community of Care & Practice. They hold this space independently—without Laura or Judit’s direct involvement. The circle is run as a not-for-profit initiative with a low-cost membership fee that channels to the pollinator team.

    Regional & Language Circles

    We have:

    ·       a Spanish core circle (Anna & Paco),

    ·       a Japanese circle emerging,

    ·       and multiple regional chapters facilitated by alumni around the world, including strong chapters in Germany, Denmark, and The Netherlands.

    Partner Initiatives

Some initiatives grow directly from our “soil”, such as the Danish festival Regenerative Voices and our annual self-organized retreat at Selgars, UK (link to Laura’s article about it).

We grow and evolve by sensing into what wants to emerge—guided by relationships, reciprocity, and living systems wisdom.

  • In principle, yes. Our alumni community spans more than 70 nationalities, and our core team is based in Europe. Our vision is to evolve into a globally rooted organism with strong regional chapters supporting regenerative transitions in their own local contexts.

We are taking our time, listening deeply, and expanding in ways that stay true to regenerative principles—not in the style of a traditional consultancy.

  • We don’t offer traditional off-the-shelf consulting. We don’t believe in one size fits all or that “consultants” should implement new strategies. It has to be held from within to flourish.

Yet when there is a clear values-aligned fit, we support teams, organizations, startups, and municipalities on their regenerative journey. We'd be happy to hear from you and see if we align to work and collaborate together.

  • We are a private entity with a regenerative financial model that allows us to remain flexible and responsive while channeling resources into regenerative projects.

Our Community of Care & Practice is not-for-profit, and our wider global community is self-organized with no money involved.
