Regenerative Pathways through Burnout
Do meaningful work without letting it take everything from you.
Whether you’re recovering from or preventing burnout, this 5-month online program will support you to find regenerative ways of working that sustain you without losing yourself.
How are you going to do work that matters if you're depleted, frustrated, and constantly pushing through?
This program is for those ready to explore burnout deeply, alongside others who get it. You will emerge with new insights and tools to navigate work differently: more sustainable, more honest, more life-giving.
The essence of this program
Next cohort:
October 20, 2026 - March 30, 2027
Over five months you will explore burnout, chronic stress and depletion with honesty, with depth, and with others who know what you're carrying. So that we can do meaningful work and take care of ourselves along the way.
Sign up before October 19.
This program is limited to 35 participants.
We gather online every other week from October 20, 2026 to March 30, 2027, 4 to 5.30 pm CET, with a break in December.
You'll understand the roots of burnout around and within you, and practice new ways of relating to work grounded in what's actually happening in your body and your mind. You'll leave with clarity around what burnout is, practical ways to navigate it rather than push through it, and a community that keeps you honest along the way.
This is work in community at its core, and if you want additional individual support alongside the group program, you can opt into one-to-one sessions.

If this feels relatable…
Maybe you know in your bones what burnout is like, and you don't want to go back. Or maybe you sense you're on the verge of it, and want to stay clear of it. Either way, this program is for you if:
You keep pushing through exhaustion because the work feels too important to stop.
You've long tried to lead and work in line with your values, and felt how much extra energy that costs you.
You're doing work to make a difference, and the gap between the change you're working for and what's actually happening is wearing you out.
You've read the burnout advice, tried the boundaries and the breaks, and the drain is still there.
You feel the state of the world is adding dread on top of the everyday demands of your work.
You're questioning whether the way you work is sustainable at all, not just for you, but for anyone.
You've started to feel like how you show up to work isn't quite you anymore.
You will be able to…
Understand what's actually happening in your body when you push through, and why willpower alone was never going to solve it.
Find ways of working that don’t ask you to disappear into your work to prove it matters.
Distinguish the exhaustion of overwork from the deeper dread of watching change unfold in ways you can't control, and know that they don't call for the same response.
Name the real gap between what you're capable of and what your circumstances currently allow, instead of just feeling it without being able to point to it.
Meet the part of you that keeps pushing through with more compassion than judgment, and start to loosen its grip.
Burnout is not an individual failure, but a sign of the times we're living.
We invite you into a space to understand its roots and to find, together, regenerative ways of moving through it.
A regenerative lens on burnout recovery and prevention
Regenerative means to replenish, heal, and revitalize.
Burnout is not a personal failure. It is a mirror of the current dynamics, narratives, and systems of exploitation that are depleting you, the people around you, and life on our planet.
The Regenerative Pathways through Burnout program is rooted in the fact that how we are living and working is fundamentally unsustainable, and that true burnout recovery and prevention require a new world of work.
We understand that burnout is not just the consequence of chronically being unable to handle workload. It is the state you reach when you’ve been functioning for too long disconnected from your true nature: from your inner voice, your authentic way of doing things, your genuine presence, your honest rhythms, and your humble human capacity.
You are actually buried under layers of what you’re supposed to do and be in this world. You were told stories of worth, wealth, growth, progress, and success that defined how work is understood nowadays for the majority of our societies. Stories that make you push through constantly, overstretching until all vitality is gone from you.
This program invites you to look at the roots of burnout around you and within you to imagine and practice ways of living and working away from systems of depletion.
Do work that matters without letting it cost you this much.
What the program includes
-

12 Live Sessions
We gather every other Tuesday for 1.5 hours, from October 20, 2026, to March 30, 2027. Each session follows a rhythm of exploring insights to reflect on, guided meditations, embodied practices and collective sense-making.
All live sessions are recorded and can be accessed at any time via the Regenerators Academy platform. You’ll have access to the content one year after we’ve finished the program.
-

A held community of change-activators
Being in community is not a backdrop to the program, but central to it. We reflect and share in both the big group and smaller circles to create deep connections during our five months together. Between sessions, you will have access to a community platform to connect, share and continue the conversation with fellow participants.
You will also join our Regenerators Alumni community, with over 1,000 people across more than 70 countries.
-

Reflection materials and practices
Between sessions you will receive prompts, practices and selected readings to support your exploration and integration between our gatherings.
-

1 individual coaching session
A 60-minute one-to-one session with Judit, available to schedule between January and the end of March 2027.
A space to bring what the program has opened in you personally, to sit with what needs more time, and to tend to what is alive for you in this particular moment.
-

Individual companionship
Optional, available separately
If you want continued dedicated one-to-one support alongside the group program, you can opt to a package of 5 individual companionship sessions with one of our regenerative space holders. One session per month of the program. A more intimate space to go deeper into what is alive for you personally.
Your guide along the program
Judit Sáez Gonzálvez
Judit is the main space holder for this program and a systemic coach trained in Organization & Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC), with nearly two decades of experience in marketing, team leadership, organizational culture, and business development. She is also a Regenerators alumna, co-facilitates Regenerators' flagship program Regenerative Leadership Journey alongside founder Laura Storm, and serves as the community and ecosystem nurturer within the Regenerators ecosystem, tending to the conditions for genuine connection and co-creation.
She brings to this program her knowledge of systemic coaching and her lived experience of burnout. Judit’s intention is to create a space that holds the complexity of burning out while doing work that matters, without rushing toward resolution or offering superficial comfort that avoid looking at the roots of one of the most widespread wellbeing challenges of our times.

Nora Bateson
Over five months, you’re invited to engage in a safe and courageous space bringing all of you. No performing, just showing up as you are. Don’t miss out on the power of your lived experience: your true stories with burnout and chronic stress will be the fuel to find your regenerative pathways.
Nobody in the space has things figured out, holds the role of expert, or aims at finding a cure to burnout. We invite you to let go of fixing and solutionist ideas. Whatever occurs during the program probably won't be either the beginning or the end. You’ll be encouraged to switch goals for intentions and solutions for practice.
A spiral, not a straight line
-
We begin at the outer edge. Before any concept or framework, we make space to land. We establish how we want to be together and plant the first seeds of a different way of looking at what has brought us here.
-
We move inward, gathering the foundations we need. We look honestly at what burnout actually is, what chronic stress does to our brains and bodies, and why the quick fixes haven't worked. Understanding is not the destination, but it is where we begin.
-
We reach the center of the spiral. This work asks for compassion: meeting the inherited stories, the internalized patterns, the parts of ourselves that burnout has both shaped and revealed. We sit here without rushing toward resolution.
-
Still at the center, we pause before turning. We reclaim rest not as recovery for more doing, but as a contemplative practice and a different way of being. This is not a break in the program, but one of its most essential teachings.
-
We begin to move outward. With new ground beneath us, we question and redefine some of the deepest assumptions driving burnout and chronic stress: about performance, about time, about what it means to live and work well.
-
We arrive back at the outer edge, but differently. We explore what has been constrained, reclaim a sense of individual and collective agency. We close the program not with resolution, but with practical tools, a clearer sense of what's yours to carry, and enough spaciousness to imagine working differently, starting now.
Burnout does not resolve in a straight line. Neither does this program.
We move in a spiral - inward and then outward again - returning to the same questions with different eyes, different depth, and a different quality of presence each time.
The spiral through these months has six phases:
A journey through inner, outer and ecosystemic dimensions.
As we spiral, we move through three interconnected dimensions:
the inner - how we relate to ourselves, our patterns, and our depletion.
the outer - how we show up in our work, our relationships, and our communities.
the ecosystemic - the ripples that our presence and actions create in the larger systems we are part of.
Regenerative practitioners understand that these dimensions are inseparable. How you show up for yourself deeply influences your ability to create regenerative change in the world. This program tends to all three.
What others are saying
"I feel more confident and with more self-awareness and self-compassion. The sessions helped me a lot to slow down and focus. Also to identify situations at work or feelings I had in the past, which were seeds for my burnout. It has a mirror effect - a tool to change the way you see, and thus, you act. The fact of knowing that Judit talks from experience gives you confidence and creates a common space of mutual understanding."
Raquel Priego
"The industrial-age way in which people work has eroded the very essence of what makes us an effective species. Today's leaders must unlearn the behaviours of the past so that we can move into a future where people work better together in the pursuit of meaningful impact. Judit's inspiring approach combines purposeful work and human leadership that will positively impact the lives and work of anyone fortunate enough to work with her."
Alex Hirst
"These sessions have been a stepping stone to practicing regenerative ways of being while evolving and deepening my sense of purpose. I appreciated the variety of interventions and activities, as well as knowing that there was always room for what wanted to emerge. I have gained much more confidence in creating what I believe in rather than perpetuating existing mechanistic cycles and roles."

Where this program is rooted
Burnout cannot be understood through a single lens. This program draws from neuroscience, philosophy, systems biology, psychodynamics, and decolonial thought - because the roots of burnout reach into all of these territories, and navigating it differently requires more than one map. Some of the theories and frameworks we will weave with:
Maslach & Leiter — six domains of burnout
Vanessa Machado de Oliveira — hospicing modernity, problems vs predicaments
Iain McGilchrist — hemisphere dominance and the divided brain
Lisa Feldman Barrett — the predictive brain, body budgeting and social co-regulation
Varma & Petriglieri — the doer identity and false self defense
Taibi Kahler — drivers model
Hannah Arendt — vita activa, vita contemplativa, animal laborans
Byung-Chul Han — the achievement society and auto-exploitation
Josef Pieper — leisure as the basis of culture
Antonio Damasio — felt consciousness
Olivier Hamant — robustness vs performance in living systems
Thomas D'hooge — three ways of thinking about time
Week by week breakdown
-
Before anything, we make space to arrive - with ourselves, with each other, and with what we are actually carrying. We set the ground for how we want to be together over the months ahead.
ARRIVAL
October 20
1
-
We look at burnout honestly - not as a personal failure or a productivity problem, but as something with deeper roots. We widen the lens beyond the workplace, and start to sit with burnout as a predicament rather than a problem to solve.
DIVING
November 3
2
-
We explore what is actually happening inside us when we burn out - in our nervous systems, our brains, and our bodies. Understanding the biology of chronic stress is the first step toward relating to it differently.
DIVING
November 17
3
-
We go beneath the surface of burnout and chronic stress into the internalized patterns and inherited stories about doing, worth, and what it means to show up in the world. We’ll explore how the systems around us - and inside us - have shaped the exhaustion we carry.
DEPTH
December 1
4
-
We turn further inward to meet the parts of ourselves that burnout has both depleted and revealed. We sit with what they carry and what they're protecting, before we go on the end of the year break.
DEPTH
December 15
5
-
We start the year not with goals and resolutions, but with an invitation to reclaim rest - not as recovery for more doing, but as a contemplative practice, a different relationship to ourselves, and perhaps something sacred in its own right.
REST
January 5
6
-
We turn toward the body as a source of knowing that chronic stress has often silenced. We explore what becomes available when we stop living only in our minds - and what the body has been trying to tell us all along.
REST
January 19
7
-
We question one of the deepest assumptions driving burnout and chronic stress - that we should optimize, perform, and bounce back. We explore what it would mean instead to build lives and ways of working that are genuinely resilient and robust: stable, viable, and able to absorb fluctuation without collapsing.
REFRAMING
February 2
8
-
We question one of the most unexamined drivers of chronic stress - our relationship to time. The assumption that time is linear, scarce, and always running out shapes almost everything. We explore what becomes possible when we inhabit time differently.
REFRAMING
February 16
9
-
Burnout narrows us - what we believe we are capable of, what we allow ourselves to occupy, what we dare to imagine. In this session we look honestly at those constrictions - where they come from, what they are made of, and what becomes visible when we loosen their grip.
RETURNING
March 2
10
RETURNING
March 16
11
-
We explore what becomes possible when we act from a different place - not from depletion or compulsion, but from genuine agency. We look at how that individual shift connects to something larger: the collective capacity to imagine and nurture different futures.
ARRIVAL
March 30
12
-
We return to the beginning - but from a different place on the spiral. We close not with resolution but with orientation and pathways, naming what we’re carrying forward.
The program is designed to allow for natural emergence to happen: we’ll stay responsive and reserve the right to adapt the content as we go.
A note on therapeutic support
This program is held with care and deep intention, and this is why is limited to 35 participants, but it’s not a therapeutic space. Our space holders are not therapists, and this program is not designed to support acute mental health crises.
If you are currently experiencing severe burnout symptoms - such as panic attacks, acute anxiety, or feeling unable to cope with daily life - we warmly encourage you to seek individual therapeutic support before or alongside joining this program.
If you are unsure whether this program is right for where you are right now, please reach out before signing up. We would rather have an honest conversation than have you join at the wrong moment for you.
This program is for you if you want to...
Understand burnout differently - not as a personal failure or a productivity problem to fix, but as something you know from the inside, with roots that go deeper than any self-optimization promise can reach.
Explore the paradox you're living - the exhaustion of working toward change while being depleted by the very systems you wish to transform.
Find pathways forward that don't bypass the difficulty - by looking honestly at your own part in the systems that deplete you, and discovering what becomes possible when inner exploration pairs with a regenerative lens.
Build understanding that actually holds - grounded in neuroscience and the systemic roots of burnout, so that what emerges is not another coping strategy but a life-affirming way of being in your work and in the world.
This program may not be for you if you're expecting...
A toolkit or framework to implement and execute. There are no quick fixes or one-size-fits-all models here.
A step-by-step recovery plan. We will not be moving through burnout in a linear, sequential way, and we’re not expecting to “solve” burnout.
Immediate relief. This is a five-month program that asks for patience, presence, and a willingness to stay with difficulty. The insights that emerge do so slowly, not overnight.
To sit back and listen. This is not a lecture series. The deep exploration, the practice, the willingness to open up and be present with others are the work itself.
One-to-one coaching session with Judit
Included in the program is one dedicated 60-minute session with Judit, available to schedule between January and the end of March 2027, in the second half of our time together.
This is a space to bring what the program has opened in you personally - what has surfaced, what has surprised you, what is asking for more time or more honesty. A moment to tend to what the group container, rich as it is, cannot fully hold for you alone.
Judit will meet you where you are on the spiral. She will help you sense into what wants to emerge from this particular moment of your journey.
Scheduling is flexible within the window and will be arranged directly with Judit after the program begins.
Individual companionship (add-on)
As an optional complement to the live sessions with the group and the individual coaching session with Judit, you can book individual one-to-one companionship sessions with one of our regenerative space holders: trained practitioners from within the Regenerators ecosystem who bring both depth of experience and a genuine understanding of the terrain this program explores.
One session per month, five individual sessions in total across the program. A dedicated space to go deeper into what is alive for you personally - to sit with what the group has opened, to tend to what needs more time, and to navigate the spiral with individual support alongside the collective one.
Individual companionship is available separately and can be added at any point during the first month of the program. Matching with a space holder will happen after enrolment.

A regenerative lens doesn't ask how to bounce back from burnout faster. It asks what needs to change at the root - in ourselves, in our work, and in the systems we are part of.
Soil Agreement
The foundation of how we show up together
For you as a potential Regenerators Academy participant, it’s important to understand our non-negotiable ways of being together that this Soil Agreement represents.
We use the term Soil Agreement because soil is foundational for all life to flourish, grow, and thrive — including life on this course.
This Soil Agreement is our foundation for how we want to be together, learn, and unlearn. It is how we lay our shared foundation for a transformational experience together.
Regenerators: A living ecosystem of change-activators reweaving how we live, lead, and design for life.
Since 2018, Regenerators has been developing an approach to leadership, organizational, and personal transformation that’s rooted in living systems wisdom.
Our frameworks and methodologies equip leaders, teams, and individuals to navigate uncertainty, build resilience, restore health and vitality, and respond to today’s challenges from a place of wholeness and wellbeing.
Regenerators Academy has been running online transformative learning journeys in regenerative leadership and living since 2021, starting with our flagship year-long course, the Regenerative Leadership Journey, which now has 1000+ alumni across more than 70 countries.
Questions you may have
-
This program is held with care and intention, which is part of why it's limited to a few participants, but it is not a therapeutic space, and our space holders are not therapists. It is not designed to support acute mental health crises and is not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you're currently working with a therapist or other mental health professional, we encourage you to keep that support in place alongside the program.
-
If you're currently on a sick leave for burnout, experiencing severe symptoms, panic attacks, acute anxiety, chronic numbness or apathy, or finding it hard to cope with daily life, this program isn't the right fit for you right now, and we'd ask you not to join at this time. We'd encourage you to seek individual therapeutic support first, and to consider this program later, once you have that support in place and you feel ready to engage in a program like this. If you're unsure where you stand, please reach out to us before signing up. We'd rather have that honest conversation than have you join at the wrong moment for you.
-
If that happens, please reach out to us directly as soon as you can. We'll talk with you about what's needed, which may include stepping back from the program to prioritize the professional support you need. This program cannot be your primary support through a mental health crisis, and holding that boundary clearly is part of how we keep the space safe for you, for the rest of the group, and for our space holders.
-
Each of the 12 live sessions follows the theme of that stage of the spiral, moving between insight, guided meditation, embodied practice, and collective sense-making. All sessions are recorded (except breakout rooms) and uploaded to the Regenerators Academy platform, where you'll have access for a full year after the program ends. So if you miss a session, you won't miss the content.
-
We gather online every other Tuesday for 1.5 hours, from October 20, 2026 to March 30, 2027, with a break between December 16 and January 4. The program follows a spiral rather than a straight line: six phases (Arriving, Diving, Depth, Rest, Reframing, Returning) that we move through, going deeper rather than checking topics off a list.
-
The core commitment is the 12 live sessions, 1.5 hours every other Tuesday. Between sessions, you'll receive reflection prompts, practices, and selected readings to support your own integration, at whatever depth feels right for you. There's no pre-recorded curriculum to work through on your own time; the sessions themselves are where the work happens.
-
During live sessions, breakout rooms let you connect in smaller groups. Between sessions, you'll have access to the Regenerators community platform to keep the conversation going among the program participants. Once the program finishes, you'll also become part of the wider Regenerators Alumni community, with over 1,000 people across more than 70 countries.
-
You're encouraged to share and engage openly, since working with your own real experience is central to how this program works. That said, you're always in control of what you share and when.
-
All content, communications, and the main language spoken in live sessions is English, as it allows the best connection and integration within our global community. We recommend you check with yourself whether English might be a big barrier for you to get the most out of this experience. To support integration, the recordings available on the Regenerators Academy platform will include auto-generated captions in English. During the live sessions that will take place on Zoom, you can also activate live automated captions and automated translations.
That said, we have a diverse community, and many participants and space holders are fluent in other languages, so some interactions in smaller groups or 1:1 conversations may happen in a language you feel more comfortable with. You can also connect with other members in our self-organized groups, many of which are region- or language-based.
-
We hear you. Our sessions aren't lectures; they include embodied practice, guided meditation, and collective reflection, and you're welcome to move, walk, or rest lying down while listening in, whatever your body needs. Between sessions, you'll also get suggestions for practices that don't require a screen. What's more, the wider Regenerators community self-organizes in-person gatherings that provide opportunities for alumni and current participants to connect, collaborate, and practice their regenerative leadership skills together.
-
Yes, we offer the possibility to apply for a scholarship, mainly open to applicants of the Global South / Global Majority. Find the information and the link above on the page to submit your scholarship application.
-
This program draws on research, scientific and philosophical frameworks, and the lived experience of its main facilitator. Personal stories of burnout, and what resonates from them, drive the work we do over these five months. All participants are encouraged to share openly and work with their own real experience.
If this program calls to you because you've seen burnout in your teams or organization and want to understand it better, but you haven't experienced it directly yourself, we'd invite you to consider other spaces built for that kind of learning, or to reach out to us directly to discuss other ways we could support what you actually need.
How do we do meaningful work when we're activating change within systems that deplete us?
Join the Regenerative Pathways through Burnout program and explore this with a community that gets you.
